For 30 years, the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has been quantifying the economic impact of Travel & Tourism, highlighting the importance of the sector to the global economy. The 2021 annual research which covers 185 countries and economies, and 25 regions of the world, reveals the full extent and significance of the COVID-19 crisis to the sector in 2020.
